Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-05-15
By installing and using TvOptimizer ("the app"), you agree to these terms. They're short — please read them.
What the app does
TvOptimizer connects to an Amazon Fire TV that you own over your local Wi-Fi network using the Android Debug Bridge (ADB) protocol. It lets you:
- View running processes and RAM usage
- Stop background apps temporarily
- Disable Amazon's pre-installed bloatware permanently (reversible)
- Reduce system animation scales
- Restore everything you changed with a single tap
All changes are reversible through the in-app "Restore" function.
What you agree to
- You own the Fire TV. Don't use this app on a device that isn't yours.
- You enable ADB Debugging yourself. This is a one-time setting in your TV's Developer Options. We can't enable it for you.
- You accept the on-TV authorization popup. This grants the app permission to talk to your TV. You can revoke it any time by clearing ADB keys in the TV's Developer Options.
- You understand reversibility. Disabling a system package may make some Amazon features stop working (e.g. Alexa, screensaver, casting). Restoring them via the app re-enables everything.
Warranty disclaimer
The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We do our best to keep it safe — every action is reversible and we never use pm uninstall on system packages, only pm disable-user. But:
- We are not responsible for damage to your Fire TV or loss of data.
- We are not affiliated with Amazon. Amazon does not endorse this app.
- If a future Fire OS update changes ADB behavior or blocks some operations, we may not be able to fix it immediately.
Things you can't do
- Don't redistribute, sell, or sublicense the app.
- Don't reverse-engineer the app to extract Apple-restricted APIs.
- Don't use the app for any unlawful purpose.
Updates
We may update the app and these terms over time. Material changes to terms will be noted by the "Last updated" date.
Termination
If you stop using the app, just delete it from your iPhone. There's no account to close and no data on our end.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil (the maintainer's home country). Disputes will be resolved in the courts of São Paulo.
